Touching the Invisible

Have you ever gone through a time of suffering when you thought that you had become invisible to friends and acquaintances. There are many who live seemingly forever in this condition…and without the friends. For them a few moments of smiling affirmation and small help amount to the miraculous.

    What is invisible “in the world” is also “desensitized”
    Well done!
    1 John 4:20- “If someone says, “I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.”
    Hate is a very strong word but are indifference, impersonal, apathy any less?
    Deprivation causes a man to see a feast, when presented with a mere saltine cracker.
    WE…are never so desperate.
    Proverbs 23:1-3 & 6-8

    “1 When you sit down to eat with a ruler,
    Consider carefully what is before you;
    2 And put a knife to your throat
    If you are a man given to appetite.
    3 Do not desire his delicacies,
    For they are deceptive food.

    6 Do not eat the bread of a miser,
    Nor desire his delicacies;
    7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.
    “Eat and drink!” he says to you,
    But his heart is not with you.
    8 The morsel you have eaten, you will vomit up,
    And waste your pleasant words.”

    I am willing to fast and pray for a Brother…whatever time it takes.
