Sow Real

The Sower Sowing the Seed
This is a prayer for those besieged by doubts, hopelessness and despair.
This is a prayer for the poor and hungry.
This is a prayer for the children silent and suffering.
This is a prayer for the lonely.
This is a prayer for the fearful.
This is a prayer for misguided foes.
This prayer is in opposition
To those who unjustly oppress
or oppose.
This is a prayer for the widow.
This is a prayer for the injured.
This is a prayer for unarmed forces,
those forced to fight in a war,
that couldn’t be won with hands tied
in a call to severed arms.
This is a prayer for the infirmed.
This is a prayer for the homeless.
This is a prayer for the outcast, the exiled, the unforgiven.
This is a prayer for sight.
This is a prayer to redeem time lost.
This is a prayer of healing.
This is a prayer for those with their backs against a wall.
This is a prayer for someone,
who has no one to pray for them.
This is a prayer for those who love someone enough not to give up on them.
This is a prayer for those who have given up on themselves.
This prayer is two tightly clenched fists slowly opening,
Surrendering and being raised up in worship and praise.
This prayer begs a stiff neck to relax to a bow.
This prayer…(hopes)
This prayer…(gives)
This prayer…(feels)
This prayer is alive
and not dead.
This is the prayer that will be borne aloft to
the heavens by eagles.
This prayer is the only one of it’s kind without any sequels.
This is a prayer for an endangered species.
This prayer spans decades
and could never have been written overnight.
This is a prayer to the…
“Dove that cried”,
for the sinners,
on both sides,
who lied,
cried in a river that dried,
for one who couldn’t do anything right,
but still tried,
who had power,
but just didn’t have enough heart left to fight,
who felt someone else’s pain
and cried all through the night.
This is a prayer that turns the other cheek.
This is a prayer that will be misunderstood.
This prayer is for that “ONE” who gets it.
This is a prayer of remembrance,
for those dearly departed.
This is a prayer,
in answer to a prayer,
that someone took the time
and had the heart,
to pray for me.
This prayer is from out of the Mist.
This prayer is “go and tell no one”,
but I’ll bet ya’ did.
This is the prayer that was answered,
This is a prayer of thanksgiving,
for helping to point the way home.
This is the gift given by grace and paid forward.
This is the seed you pretend not to see,
but can’t deny.
This is a prayer of not running from
but running to.
This is,
..a helmet,
..a breastplate,
..a shield,
..a sword,
..wielded in faith.
This prayer is a living heart with the stone removed.
In my Father’s loving embrace,
with a ring on my finger , shoes on my feet
and a fine tunic draped around my shoulders.
A work in progress…
without regress…
This prayer is far from perfect,
but it was written on my heart by an unseen hand,
in the spirit,
and freely given,
may it be a blessing to all.
