Left Alone To Die/Live

To Be
Unencumbered now
Revived from slumber
Refreshed/Restored
Un-enmeshed
Expansive horizon
Silencers on muzzles
Falling Silent
Snow from sky
Leaves from trees
Paratroopers from planes
killing to preserve life
Actuation sequences
Proper protocols
Countdown refrains
3, 2, 1…
Abort?
Tiny heart
Faintly beats
On stainless steel
(Stainles steel???)
STAINLESS???!!!
Tables in operance
Tables on wheels
Tables turning
…on wheels
A stain remains
Tears of blood
Shed at Gethsemane
Unheeded
Unseen
Forfeited…
A Saviour’s beautiful dream.

  1. That little life struggling on steel table and away from a mothers warmth will be welcomed by the angels. No need to worry about sand stolen from the glass. But the expedient killers might have a worry calling for repentance.

  2. ahhh…the “Sand?”
Represents to me the things un-graspable that only God knows, that slip through the hands of our own understandings hands no matter how tightly gripped. Missing the fact of Truth and Faith and belief that God has a plan and a purpose for everyone and everything.
Here’s a shocking statistic to meditate upon:
    Abortion Statistics – Worldometers
    http://www.worldometers.info/abortions/
The data on abortions displayed on the Worldometers’ counter is based on the latest statistics on worldwide abortions published by the World Health Organization (WHO). According to WHO, every year in the world there are an estimated 40-50 million abortions. This corresponds to approximately 125,000 abortions per day.
